We established our organization in 1996, and in the years since, Map has worked on a variety of innovative projects with some of the top people from the world and beyond. We launched an office in Shenzhen, China, in 2005, to expand ourselves and provide our services to a larger plethora. We aspire to create work that is both unique and intelligent, with a dash of magic thrown in for good measure. The team has a vast knowledge of the electronics industry and provides comprehensive Engineering design services involving Embedded Hardware, FPGA, and Software development. Our hardware expertise covers complex board designs up to 20+ layers; Analog, Digital & RF Designs; FPGA Development, and VHDL / Verilog RTL Development & Verification. Our Software expertise ranges from OS Porting, Firmware & Device Drivers Development, and Wireless & Protocol Stacks to Embedded Application Development.
The high-speed designs are verified post-layout using SI (Signal Integrity) simulation, using tools such as Hyperlynx and SPICE, followed by detailed design verification/validation testing. Orcad, Allegro, Mentor, Altium, Pads, etc are typically the tools used for schematics capturing and PCB layout design.
Prototype assembly is carried out using the associated Manufacturing facilities. The testing and measuring laboratory is equipped with instruments such as High-speed Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, JTAG Interface, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Field probes, etc. While we have multiple testing chambers for carrying out the required Environmental tests, certain tests such as EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) are outsourced to certified external labs.
We have expertise in Power Electronics Design. Which involves developing custom power supplies with enhanced product Safety and EMC features. The services offered include new product development, re-engineering, regulatory compliance services, etc. Our present product capabilities include high-efficiency power converters, intelligent battery chargers, control gear, electric vehicle chargers, renewable energy conversion & management products, etc.
